Refund & Cancellation Policy

Okno isn't a subscription, so there's nothing to cancel and no recurring fee to stop. You pay €10 for a day only when you publish to your live site. Here's how stopping and refunds work.

Cancellation

To stop being charged, simply don't publish to your live site — no editing day, no charge. To stop entirely, remove your saved card; future days then can't be charged. Either way your live site keeps running on your own hosting, and your content stays in your own Git repository. There's no auto-renewal and no cancellation fee.

Refunds

Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, so refunds are handled through Paddle. To request one, reply to the Paddle receipt you received for the charge, or email us at legal@okno.build and we'll help.

  • Mistaken, duplicate, or unused charges — contact us and we'll arrange a refund through Paddle.
  • A used editing day — when you start an editing day by publishing, you've asked us to begin the service immediately and you've used it, so that day's €10 is generally non-refundable once used. We'll always look at genuine problems case by case.

The caps protect you from surprises: a month never costs more than €40, and a year never more than €200, no matter how much you publish.

EU right of withdrawal

If you're an EU consumer, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a digital purchase. By starting an editing day you expressly ask us to begin supplying the service straight away and acknowledge that, once the day is used, the right of withdrawal for that day is lost. This does not affect refunds for charges that were mistaken, duplicated, or never used.
